Congratulations to our drummer and fearless bandleader, Kelli Rae Tubbs! An article she authored, "When Counting Time
is Critical," appears in the Winter 2016 Issue (issue #24) of Tom Tom Magazine
, an internationally-available publication
exclusively about female drummers and percussionists.
You can buy this issue of Tom Tom Magazine
in print or via digital download. Here's how: for a print edition, stop by your
local Barnes & Noble bookseller, Guitar Center, or music store (especially drum shops). If you don't find a hard copy, you can
purchase either a print or digital copy of the magazine directly from the publisher at www.TomTomMag.com
This technical piece contains terrific tips for any musician who wishes to improve their internal metronome....you can "count"
on it! Nicely done, Kelli Rae!

The two talked about the fascinating and sometimes quirky history about the music and musicians of the Swing Era and the
Roaring '20s, had some laughs, and listened to terrific music.
It was a fun event and the band hopes to hear Kelli Rae on the airwaves again soon!
